Up close with the chimps, baboons, monkeys, meerkats or our serval cat, with the head keeper. Six experiences. Six small windows into the work.

Each experience is run by the head keeper. The shortest is 30 minutes; the longest, the baboon island, is 45.

Chimpanzees

Accompany the head keeper to the chimpanzee enclosures and give a scatter mix of dried fruit and nuts. The mesh stays between you and the chimps at all times.

The house rules
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, are non-refundable, and include sanctuary admission on the day of your visit.
10 to 13 with an adult, two vouchers. 14+ can come on their own. Max two people per session.
We don't take Meet & Greet bookings online. Ring 01639 730276 and we'll find a slot.
We provide them. They protect the animals from human respiratory illnesses.
Some experiences cross uneven ground. Call ahead if access is a concern, we'll talk it through.

- How do I book?
- By phone on 01639 730276. Meet & Greet experiences are not bookable online. Vouchers are valid for 12 months and are non-refundable.
- What's included?
- The voucher includes general admission to the sanctuary on the day of your Meet & Greet, so you can walk the rest of the site afterwards.
- Who can attend?
- Age 10 and over. Children aged 10 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult — that means two vouchers. Visitors aged 14 and over can come on their own. Maximum two people per session.
- Will the terrain suit me?
- Some experiences involve walking over uneven ground. If you have access concerns, please call us before booking and we'll talk through what to expect.
- Do I need a face mask?
- Yes for the chimp and monkey experiences, to protect the animals from human respiratory illnesses. We provide them.
